Blake was a skeleton for Halloween, and Ryan was a pirate. the boys are still too young to go trick-or-treating in my book. and i don’t think Ryan even knows what candy is. so we went to visit their grandparents. somebody had to see them in their silly outfits other than Tim and me.
Blake turned 2 months old!
Ryan and Blake grew mustaches. (these are the only somewhat decent pictures i have from Thanksgiving. haha.)
we took the boys to the Christmas parade. it was pretty cold, so they got nice and bundled up. Blake obviously didn’t even know he was at a parade, but Ryan loved it (until the big semi trucks honked their horns right in front of us. that freaked him out.)! he was very serious, watching everything go by. he waved and yelled hi almost the whole time.
some Christmastime pictures...
Ryan practiced planking.
after seeing how excited Ryan got at the parade, we walked to the Orcutt Christmas parade. i think his favorite part of the whole thing was the blue candy cane he got.
Christmas eve at Gramma Sally’s...
Ryan had to try on his new rain boots at Gramma Janie and Grampa Bob’s on Christmas Day.
Blake is still a super happy baby! and he’s a great sleeper, too. he’s been going 8-12 hours between feedings at night. it’s pretty awesome.
Ryan is still a great big brother. of course! he likes to give Blake kisses and tell him good morning and goodnight. other than that, Ryan doesn’t give Blake much attention. it works out well. for an almost-2 year old, he’s such a good little boy!
well, except for the whole pulling-his-pants-and-diaper-off thing. i’m still not quite sure what to do about that. luckily, it doesn’t happen too often and i still find it kind of funny.
p.s. these pictures are driving me nuts. i know they’re all jacked up, but i can’t get them to go where i want. i guess i need to learn how to use this thing. i’m not usually this computer-stupid. maybe someone can tell me how to fix it. or how to make those little photo collage deals.
